Why we built PAANA

Roadside breakdowns happen to everyone. A dead battery on a cold morning. A flat tyre on a highway at midnight. An empty fuel tank in an unfamiliar city. In India, most drivers still handle these situations by calling random numbers from Google, flagging down strangers, or waiting hours for a dealer network to respond — if their vehicle is under warranty at all.

We saw two realities: skilled mechanics and tow operators in every city looking for steady work, and drivers who couldn't find them when it mattered. PAANA connects the two — in the language drivers already use (WhatsApp), with the people who already know the roads (local partners).

PAANA is live across Chhattisgarh — Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg-Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Korba, Raigarh, Jagdalpur, Ambikapur, Janjgir-Champa, Kabirdham, Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Balod, and Bemetara. We're expanding to Odisha, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh through 2026-27, with a long-term plan for pan-India coverage.
